i forgot about finishing this phuket series! life got in the way..
anyway here’s our only dinner when we were all together. earlier that day, merlin went on a fishing tour and brought home his catch, 3 or 4 fishes (can’t remember). we didn’t know what to do with them so we asked the hotel chef if he can cook it for us. he said yes right away!!

patong nights at bangla road!!
beers at the hotel are relatively cheap.. but you just got to go out to experience the patong night life.
mela’s thai friend, bee, took us out for some yummy thai seafood (no pics the resto was just too dark) then for some drinks later after that. too bad he had to leave early though.
here’s bee playing a game with one the bar waitresses while waiting for the rest of the group to arrive. he figured out the puzzle so he gets a free drink.
time for some shots at the vodka ice bar.. -16deg inside!! its just a refrigerator turned into a bar lol!
i didn’t want my camera in there so i asked jeremy to take pictures of us in there from outside. there was a cctv set up to see inside the “fridge”

here’s pretty much how we spend our mornings at the hotel.. eat, check email, fool around, plan our day… we’re there at the hotel restaurant for more or less 3-4hrs!
everyone brought their laptops with them…

early next day after we arrived we went diving w/ sea bees aboard their huge dive boad the exalibur II. anyways it was a great day but winds picked up on the way to the dive site. we had to abort the dives because of the difficult conditions.
