the little flash that could…

i got 2 cheapo mini-flashes a couple of weeks back and i gave one to my good friend bliss for christmas. we got to play w/ it last friday when we decided to go saguijo for some drinks and good music.  bliss offered to be my voice activated lightstand for the night! i can’t wait till i get my radio trigger (got stuck in the post-office thanks to the loong holiday).

yashica electro 35 gs

i got this yesterday, christmas afternoon from my uncle. it was gritty and dirty (not that a little tlc couldnt help). but i noticed some fungus growth inside the viewfinder window and inside the lens im gonna get it cleaned soon and hope to find batteries for this baby. cant wait to use it!

ive been wanting to have a working rangefinder and i couldnt believe my uncle got this in storage.. good thing i got to bring up a conversation about film cameras during our traditional christmas eve dinner w/ the clan.

happy holidays everyone! here’s my christmas card for everyone who never got it in their mailboxes.

a little info on the photo:

this was taken early march this year in the bodega… the little tree was in storage already. even though it wasnt christmas that time i just had to take a picture of it. the sun was hitting it perfectly, the shadows, the glint of the glitters and the dust on those balls was just screaming for attention.

g10 test

i got play with a g10 for a couple of days.. i love it. but i still love my powershot and i just couldnt let go of it… i think ill just wait until it dies (if it does die.. hurrah for canon’s build quality)
